CDC Damper Tubes
Precision tubular components for CDC (Continuous Damping Control) dampers in automotive suspension applications
CDC damper tubes are used in suspension systems with Continuous Damping Control, where oil flow is adjusted electronically during driving. The design of tubes such as the intermediate, reservoir, and related damper tubes directly affects how quickly the damper responds and how consistent its performance remains over time.
The intermediate tube sits between the reservoir tube and the piston tube, forming separate oil chambers and guiding hydraulic flow during damping adjustment. Through this internal tube structure, pressure changes and oil distribution are controlled in a stable and predictable way, allowing the damper to react smoothly under different driving conditions. The buffering features of the intermediate tube and the pressure regulation handled by the reservoir tube support this behavior, while proper sealing and suitable material selection are important to ensure long-term durability.
